Germany is the surprise of the 2nd day in Mieres

Winning against Italy, Germany now leads group A. Second win for Spain and easy debut for Portugal and France.

The victory of Germany against Italy in the first match of the day is the most relevant result of the 2nd day at the U17 European Championship in Mieres. Now Germany leads the Group A and can really qualify for the semifinals. In the same group, Portugal made its own debut with an impressive victory against Andorra.
The Group B is leaded by Spain. The home team won its second game of the championship against Switzerland. France is the other unbeated team of the group, having played and won just one game this afternoon against Isreael.

Italy – Germany 3-5
Portugal – Andorra 16-1
Standing: Germany 6 points, Portugal and Italy 3 points, Andorra and Austria 0 points (Portugal and Austria played just one game)
France – Israel 10-0
Spain – England 11-1
Standing: Spain 6 points, France and Switzerland 3 points, Israel and England 0 points (France and England played just one game)
