No surprises in the quarterfinals of the Male Euroleague of Rink Hockey: all the winners of the groups in the group stage qualify to the Final Four, scheduled on 13th and 14th of May in a to-be-assigned venue. Cers Rink Hockey Committee will decide the host city of the Final Four in the next days.
Only the reigning champions, SL Benfica, won both the matches of the round: after having won 3-2 in La Coruña, the Portuguese team increased the advantage winning 6-2 in the second leg.
UD Oliveirense and FC Barcelona took advantage of the results of the first leg against the two Italian teams; the Portuguese tied 3-3 with Wasken Lodi, while the Catalans lost the match agaist Forte dei Marmi in the Palau Blaugrana by 4-3 (but they had won 3-1 in Italy).
In the last match of the day, Reus Deportivo got the pass to the Final Four after a neverending game against FC Porto. After the 7-7 in Porto, the match in Reus ended 2-2, with no golden goal during the extra time. The catalan team prevealed then after penalties where the Reus scored twice while Porto failed all the shots.
