The 36th edition of the U17 European Championship is going to start in Fanano (Italy)

Some of the 10 national teams that will participate in the 36th edition of the U17 European Championship are all already in Fanano, a touristic town in the province of Modena, nestled in the “Appennini” the second mountain range of Italy.

The championship will start on Sunday afternoon with the first four games of the 30 that will lead to the new European Champion. 
As always, the U17 is the most unpredictable and balanced among the European Championships: a competition in which everything could happen. 
The 10 teams are divided into two groups. In group A will play: Spain (defending champion), Italy, Israel, England And Germany. In group B will play: Portugal, France, Andorra, Austria and Switzerland.
In the qualifying phase, the teams of each group will play a single round robin (from Sunday to Thursday). The first and second classified of each group will qualify for the semifinals, while the others will play for the places from 5th to 10th.
All the games of the championship will be broadcasted live by CERH TV through its youtube channel.

SCHEDULE OF SUNDAY, JULY 30
3.00 PM – Group B – France vs Andorra
5.00 PM – Group A – Israel vs Spain
7.00 PM – Group B – Austria vs Portugal
8.30 PM – Opening Ceremony
9.30 PM – Group A – Italy vs Germany
